We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the Small T-Mic® Microphone, Small Direct ConnectTM and Small Standard Earhook for pediatric users and adults with smaller ears. These new earhooks are available in Beige, Silver and Dark Sienna and are compatible with all HarmonyTM and Auria® BTE processors.
The Small T-Mic Microphone provides similar advantages to its larger counterpart: clearer sound that takes advantage of the outer ear’s natural sound-collecting properties, natural directional hearing in noisy environments, superior high-frequency sound, and better overall signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, the Small T-Mic Microphone is malleable so that it can be adjusted for a custom fit on smaller ears.
The Small Direct Connect provides complete audio input for easy access to ALDs, FM systems, MP3 and portable CD players, and cell phones. It is also malleable for improved retention on smaller ears.
The Small Standard Earhook can also be adjusted for a more comfortable and confident fit on smaller ears.
These new small earhooks will now be shipped with all pediatric Harmony Processor Kits and can also be ordered for adults who have smaller ears.
Patients that have been waiting for these small earhooks can now begin to exchange their unopened standard-sized earhooks for the small earhooks by calling the Customer Care Department at 877-829-0026.
